Visit Melbourne

Why don't you visit Melbourne and see what a great place it is?

Whether you're from abroad or live within commuting distance but don't ever visit the city, make the effort and take a few days to look round Melbourne city centre........

.......Even if you're from Sydney, come to Melbourne and see what you've been missing!

In 2001 I travelled extensively around Australia, visiting all the big cities and a lot of the smaller places too........

.......I started in Darwin, flew to Alice Springs, on to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns.......

......I had a great time in most of these other places but Melbourne beats them all in my opinion. From the weather (not too hot too often!), to the people to the sights in and around the city.........

..........and now there's the bonus of finding all these free things to do here.......

.........from free trams and buses to free Melbourne sightseeing tours (if you know where to look).......

.......You'll not find another Australian city that's so helpful to it's visitors.........

........and I'd be surprised if there were any other cities in the world where you can do so much for free.

So what are you waiting for?!.....Come to Melbourne!!
